How to set up proxies in Internet Explorer

Follow the steps below to configure proxy settings on your Internet Explorer browser. The tutorials use Internet Explorer 9.0 but other versions of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer should be similar.

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Go to Settings -> Internet Options.

3. Go to Connections.

4. Click LAN Settings.

5. Check the box Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections).

6. Fill the Server Address and Port Number and then click OK.

In order to enable the proxy connection you obviously need a proxy. Lucky for you we provide rotating mobile and residential proxies. Head over to https://hydraproxy.com/pricing/ to check our competitive prices.

All traffic will be redirected through a proxy. This doesn’t necessarily mean you are browsing anonymously, but your real IP is not visible then.
